01What modern Wi-Fi APs require from cabling.

How do I know how many APs I need?

Wi-Fi consultant or IT consultant does formal site survey, modeling coverage, capacity, and overlap. In-ceiling junction boxes (mounted in T-bar ceiling or drywall above the AP) are standard and recommended — provides clean install, hides cabling, allows AP mount-bracket attachment. Surface-mount alternatives work for exposed-ceiling environments (industrial spaces, warehouses) where in-ceiling isn't practical. Discuss specific ceiling type during planning.

How do you handle pricing — flat fee or hourly?

Both, depending on scope. Routine service calls and predictable scope (panel replacement, EV charger install, transfer switch install, fixture replacement) are flat-fee quoted up front. Diagnostic visits and emergency scope are hourly because we don't know what we'll find.
